Seeing as it's Burns Night in Scotland tomorrow, I wanted to share a recipe for a traditionally Scottish biscuit - shortbread! These are about the easiest thing to bake ever, so they're good if you need to make something quick.Ingredients:
- 125g butter
- 55g caster sugar
- 180g plain flour
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 190C.
- Grease and line two baking trays.
- Mix the butter and the sugar together.
- Add the flour until it comes together into a smooth paste. If it seems too dry, you can add a teaspoon of milk.
- Roll it into the desired thickness.
- Cut it into shapes using a cutter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes. Place on a cooling rack when done.
